ARTIST BIO

Elena (Yelena) Kolotusha was born in former USSR. She started her career as a Visual Arts teacher in Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan) after graduating from Pedagogical University of Kazakhstan (Graphic Arts Department). In 1998 she moved with her family to Australia where after some years she continued to carry forward as an artist. From 2004 Elena took part in numerous group art shows and exhibitions and won numerous awards. Her artworks were also published in "Australian Artist" and "Artist's Palette" magazines, as well as in some national and international art publications. She is Fellow Member of Australian Guild of Realis Artists and Signature member of International Society of Scratchboard Artists.
