Every Easter the Rotary Club of Bendigo holds its annual Easter Art Show with more than 900 paintings on show and for sale. This year a concurrent Virtual Show will be held online as well providing a greater opportunity for interested artists to exhibit in an online gallery and allowing for purchasers to buy if unable to attend.
Held in the beautiful Bendigo Town Hall visitors to the Easter fair are able to browse through the displays and watch the resident artist at work each day.
Artists enter from all around Victoria and Southern NSW. Works are of a high standard and winners are judged in a variety of categories by art experts from the region. Total prize money of $9,250 on offer. An overall "Best In Show"painting is awarded each year and it is a highly contested prize worth $2,500.
This is the 55th year that Rotary has run the art show. It is the major fund raiser for the local club with all the funds raised going to help local charities, volunteer groups, schools and special community projects.
Make a visit to the Easter Art Show one of the must dos while you are in Bendigo enjoying the many festivities and events happening over the Easter week-end.
Doors open from 9am - 5.30pm Good Friday to Easter Sunday and from 9am - 2.30pm on Easter Monday.

This year, tickets are to be purchased online with the possibility of some tickets being available at the door. To avoid missing out, we encourage visitors to book tickets online via the Bendigo Tourism website.
Session times for Good Friday to Easter Sunday are 9am-12.30pm, 1pm-5.30pm.
